Event Information
To commemorate the inauguration of the nation's 44th president, Barack Obama, Washington's creative communities pooled their time, energy and resources to create the most unique inaugural celebration of the year. Spread out over three spaces and featuring everything from live bands to DJs, firedancers to spoken word, the Art of Change encompassed the creative spirit in the nation's capital in a way no other event could. The event also provided a vibrant fundraiser for Artomatic, DC's preeminant arts organization, and Playa Del Fuego, the mid-Atlantic region's local Burning Man regional event coordinator.
This was The Rogue Wave Project's first event, collaborating with Artomatic, Playa Del Fuego, Dance Afire, Brightest Young Things, and many more.
